We almost had a scoop for you today. Almost.
Redskins coach (and NASCAR team owner) Joe Gibbs was asked if he had talked with Tony Stewart or Denny Hamlin since their fates in the Chase for the Nextel Cup had been decided. Stewart, of course, missed the Chase with an 18th-place finish at Richmond; Hamlin finished 15th in the race and fifth in the standings.
